Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• URLs you submit — the long URLs you paste to shorten, stored so redirects work.
• Short link metadata — slugs, creation dates, optional expiry dates, and ownership (account or guest session).
• Account information — if you register: email address, optional name, and a hashed password. We never store plain-text passwords.
• Usage and click analytics — for Premium users, aggregated click data such as country, referrer, device type, and timestamp when someone follows a short link.
• Cookies — session cookies for signed-in users and a guest identifier cookie for anonymous link quotas.
• Server logs — standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.

• Provide URL shortening, redirects, and account features.
• Enforce plan limits (e.g. 5 free links per month, 100 Premium links per month).
• Expire free links after 90 days as described on our pricing page.
• Display analytics to Premium account holders about their own links.
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's partner sites policy. You may opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Short links and associated data are kept for as long as needed to operate the service. Free and guest links may expire after 90 days. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.

We use Firebase (Google Cloud) to store application data securely. Infrastructure and analytics providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@linkshrinks.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of LinkShrinks after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
